Postcard Friendship Fridays

I have just recently discovered "Postcard Friendship Fridays" where friendship and postcards are shared. What a lovely idea.

The quest is to share postcards or stamps for example and then visit other postcard bloggers.

While helping to set up at a yard sale tonight there was a small stack of postcards ready to be thrown out. I realized these would be perfect for my first postcard for the postcard exchange - they were over 20 years old.

This postcard is from Florida and tells the story of starfish.

Have a look at the stamps - a US stamp for 10c and 13c! A Canadian one for 30c.

Thanks to all of you for stopping by!
Hi Kirby - yes the yard sale took place this morning and I found too many others treasures. For $10 I got a drafting table and for adollar I got 3 wooden breadboards (for painting or for woodburning or both!) I love flea markets and yards sales!

Hi Mel - it was through you I decided to post here - so thanks so much. Yes I couldn't believe the price either!

Hi Donna - I am excited about joining the photo challenge - not sure which direction to take this one yet.

Hi Terry - Thanks for the kind words. I loved this story too. I love starfish as well.

Hi Debby - Thanks for the welcome. I know I am going to enjoy the friendship part the most.!

Blessings to all of you.
Take care.

I'm old enough to remember the roll of 5-cent stamps on Grandma's desk. Aren't the postal services supposed to be more efficient (and therefore inexpensive) today?

Beverly!!!! Hello! Welcome to Postcard Friendship Friday! Golly... I'm a little late:) I was away over the weekend. What a darling little starfish story and those stamps are the cat's meow! I'll put a special shout out in next Friday's post with your link so that nobody misses you next week and can give you an even bigger PFF welcome!

How very lovely this all is! I'm sorry for dropping by a little late--I've been ill all weekend, and am just now feeling human enough to say, "Happy PFF!"

I'm glad you didn't throw them out. Not only are they great to collect or give away - but some people also use them for different crafting activities.
Welcome to PFF!
